Warranty

This Warranty outlines coverage, limitations, and procedures related to Falcon Truck Bodies products.

1. Warranty Overview

Falcon Truck Bodies (“Falcon”) provides the following limited warranties to the original end user of Falcon-manufactured truck bodies. These warranties apply only to products manufactured by Falcon and installed on the original chassis.

“Rust-through” is defined as corrosion that creates a hole completely through the metal.

2. Five-Year Warranty with Unlimited Mileage

Falcon guarantees the following products will not experience rust-through for a period of five (5) years with unlimited mileage:

  • Service Body
  • EUV Body
  • Crane Body
  • Line Body sheet metal components

In addition, the following Falcon-branded components are guaranteed against mechanical failure for five (5) years:

  • Falcon branded door latches (chrome handle)
  • Lock cylinders
  • Standard door hinges
  • Standard compartment shelving (rated load of 250 lbs)

3. Three-Year or 36,000-Mile Warranty

Falcon guarantees the following products will not experience rust-through for a period of three (3) years or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first:

  • Platform Body
  • Gooseneck Body
  • Dump Body
  • Forestry Body

4. One-Year Warranty on Moving Parts

Falcon guarantees all bodies manufactured by Falcon shall be free from defects in moving parts for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation.

5. Warranty Coverage Duration and Limitations

The warranty period begins on the earlier of:

  • The date of purchase by the end user, or
  • Three (3) months from the date the product is shipped from Falcon

This warranty applies only to products shipped after January 1, 2023, and only while the product remains mounted on the original chassis.

Falcon will pay for materials and labor necessary to repair or replace defective products. Falcon reserves the sole right to inspect the product and determine the appropriate remedy.

6. Exclusions from Warranty Coverage

  • Products not installed by an authorized Falcon distributor or agent
  • Accessories not manufactured by Falcon
  • Stainless steel or non-Falcon-installed latches
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Damage from accidents, misuse, overloading, or improper installation
  • Failure to maintain products per Operation & Maintenance guidelines
  • Third-party products (cranes, lift gates, compressors, etc.)
  • Paint, decals, or finishes not applied by Falcon
  • Damage caused by chemicals or improper cleaning methods
  • Rust-through caused by improper coating or corrosion exposure
  • Products purchased or used outside the United States or Canada

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

FALCON HEREBY DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

8. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall Falcon’s liability exceed the amount received under the applicable contract of sale or purchase order.

Falcon shall not be liable for any liquidated, special, indirect, incidental, exemplary, or consequential damages, including lost profits, even if such damages were foreseeable.
